Shop is a complex blueprint, with some shadowy configuration corners - documentation is still in development!

Paypal settings

When using Shop with Paypal, you need to ensure that:

• Your Paypal account is set up using Paypal Website Payments Standard
• That auto-return is turned off (go to Profile -> Website Payment Preferences and switch Auto Return to 'off'). This will allow Paypal to return buyers to a page with detailed receipt information, rather that to a generic 'we've received your order' page.
• That Paypal is not set to override freight data sent to it by the Shop blueprint (go to Profile -> Postage Calculations and check the box that says "Click here to allow transaction-based postage values to override the profile postage settings listed above (if profile settings are enabled).") If you don't do this, then Paypal will ignore freight settings listed in the Shop blueprint page, and instead use its own calculations (leading to inaccurate receipts, among other things).
